With nothing forthcoming from EMI UK to tie in with the release of the Let It Be LP, EMI (Australia) again looked to the US for inspiration. Of course, that inspiration didn't extend to the picture sleeve, which was not adopted here.
Both tracks appear as folddowns of the stereo mixes, taken from the Let It Be LP. Cut "on the fly" from the LP, you can hear the "…B.I members" of John's spoken intro just before 'For Your Blue'!
The single remained available until the late 1980s.
