The formal arrangement for Leeds Music to be the local Northern Songs and Jaep representative did not commence until August 1963, some three months after this single was released. By then, Essex Music Of Australia had claimed the local rights to 'From Me To You', through Del Shannon's cover version released here on the London label in August. Thus, initial copies of this single have 'Parlophone Control' royalty stamps on both sides (not MCPS as Epstein's Northern Songs didn't have a linage to MCPS, so in the absence of any claim, EMI (Australia) collected royalties into a 'keep account' until the owner was identified) with copies from August having the updated 'Essex' royalty for 'From Me To You'.
Deleted by 1968, the single was recut in June 1976 (both sides in mono) and reissued in July, where it remained available until the late 1980s.
