Perhaps unsurprisingly, EMI (Australia)'s promotional material for the box set was not too dissimilar to that used by EMI UK.
What is surprising, however, is that the CD box set used in EMI (Australia)'s printed material—example shown at right—contains a 1983/4-era copy of the Japanese Abbey Road CD (yellow spine), while the cassette box set contains a mix of pre-digitally remastered Australian-made cassettes (With The Beatles, A Hard Day's Night, Rubber Soul, The Beatles, Magical Mystery Tour, Abbey Road and Let It Be), digitally remastered cassettes (Please Please Me, Beatles For Sale, Help! and Sgt Pepper's), and two New Zealand-made cassettes (Revolver and Yellow Submarine)! Past Masters is not even present! What a frankenstein of a set and certainly not representative of what one would receive once they paid their $229!
