Machine Stamped - Hand Written
For reasons unknown, in Australia the iconic Richard Avedon photo used on the front cover was printed in negative. EMI (Australia) also eschewed most of the extras, including the textured sleeve, booklet, inner sleeves and picture labels. And, unlike the previous two albums, Love Songs contained no unique promotional insert. EMI (Australia) did, however, maintain the inner gatefold cover art (mouseover the above sleeve image).

Mastered in Australia from US-supplied tapes (stored as PARLO 468/9), the albums maintained the same 1/4 and 2/3 side configuration.

The album spent 11 weeks on the charts, reaching #59.
