GENERAL ALBUM INFORMATION
All pressings have SONGS FROM THE FILM "A HARD DAY'S NIGHT" on both labels.

A Hard Day's Night was cut locally from UK-supplied tapes. It is unknown why a recut (-2/-2) was required so early and likewise it is unknown why it was so short-lived, having been replaced with a newer -3/-3 cut not long after.

There is an oddly numerous number of slightly different sleeve variations for this album, with the differences being limited to the rear cover. See above table for details. The sleeve in the sleeve image above is variation A5. See image below as an example of the 'damaged' photos, which existed during the 1970s, before being 'touched up' in 1980.

The 1988 digital remaster, despite being mono like the CD release, maintained the stereo numbering system.
