LABEL STYLES - SINGLES
SILVER/BLACK STYLE 'A' - WITH ROYALTY STAMPS
Used from October 1963 to November 1979 and again from April 1982 to 1990, the silver/black Parlophone label was the most common label to appear on Australian Beatles singles. It was identical to the yellow/black Parlophone EP label but with all text and logos in silver rather than yellow. Four main print variations existed, with this variation (A) available between October 1963 and June 1969. The variation is categorised by having royalty stamps printed to the left of the centre hole, with catalogue and matrix numbers to the right. Some labels printed during 1968/69 have a completely different typesetting, suggesting use of a second printing house.

Only one label pair per title is displayed on this page. Label variations for a given record can be found on its corresponding single page (accessible via the main 'Singles' menu, above).
