TELMAK
Telmak Teleproducts was a well-known Australian TV-marketer during the 1980s. It was a breakaway from K-tel, commencing in January 1981 under the head of former K-tel Products General Manager David Hammer. With a strong shareholding by major Australian television stations, it had almost unlimited access to TV space, making it a strong competitor in the "loud and cheesy" advertising category. Only one Beatles LP was released in Australia through Telmak; a reissue of the Star-Club recordings in 1982 titled Historic Sessions. Only one label pair is displayed on this page.
