By now EMI (Australia) had caught up to the point where this single was released in Australia on the same day that it was released in the UK. This was a necessity to circumvent excessive imports (and radio broadcast!) before local release, which had been a problem for EMI (Australia) and other majors.

Deleted in December 1969, the single would not be reissued until 1982, where in June it was recut (both sides in stereo) at Studios 301 by Allan Parsons for inclusion in the Australian 20th Anniversary Singles Collection. It subsequently went out of print again before returning on 7 December 1987.
